Meet Dr. Robert Rodine

I am Dr. Robert Rodine, it’s nice to meet you.
As far back as I can remember, I was always interested in how things worked. As I grew older, I became interested in health and fitness and eventually healthcare; always drawn to how the body works — not just where something hurts, but why it’s happening and what needs to change to move forward.
A Personal Experience That Shaped My Approach
I first experienced chiropractic care when I was a child for hip pain. But it wasn’t until my early twenties, after dealing with a stubborn episode of back pain, that I really appreciated the difference a methodical, but grounded, approach made. Even after the pain improved, I knew something still wasn’t functioning the way it should. My chiropractor helped me understand the root cause and work through a full recovery. That experience still shapes how I practice today.
I approach care with patients as problem solving. Some problems are mechanical — joints that aren’t moving well, tissues under too much load and structures that are irritated. Others are more complex — long-standing pain, nervous system sensitivity, or bodies that have adapted to stress or injury over time. My role is to determine what’s driving your symptoms, explain it clearly, and build a plan that makes sense for you.
Education and Clinical Training
I completed my undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa and earned my Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2007. Following this I undertook a residency in Clinical Sciences where I worked in clinical research and education at CMCC, which shaped how I evaluate evidence, approach patient care and work alongside other health professionals.
Always looking to improve and update my approach to patient care, I have completed additional training in Active Release Techniques (ART), Clinical Acupuncture, Functional Dry Needling, Pediatric Care, Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders and Management, Concussion Management, Chronic Pain, Rehabilitation and Cranial Adjusting, among other courses.
In practice, I use a combination of hands-on treatment, soft tissue work, rehabilitation strategies, movement-based care and needling therapies. I also believe people do better when they understand what’s happening in their body and why we’re choosing a certain path forward – education and understanding are vital.
My Goal for Every Patient
When patients leave their first visit, I want them to feel confident, hopeful, and understood. Throughout your care, our entire team works with you — not on you — so you feel supported, informed, and in control of your recovery and long-term health.
