When you first arrive you will be greeted by our administrative team. If you haven’t already completed the new patient paperwork we will ask you to do that before seeing the doctor.
After the paperwork has been completed we will escort you to the consultation room to see your doctor. Together you will discuss what brought you in and your health history to help identify any health issues or concerns. Following the consultation, we will perform a thorough examination to determine your diagnosis.
If X-rays are required, your Doctor of Chiropractic will help to arrange this referral. After the exam we will discuss the following:
- What the problem is
- What your care plan will include
- How your care will change over time
From here, we’ll start your chiropractic care. Your first visit typically requires between 30 and 45 minutes. Please try to wear loose-fitting clothing, that you can move comfortably in.
Subsequent Visits
The length of your following visits with us will depend on what your customized care plan includes. During your second visit, we will take some time to review your first visit and answer any questions you might have, usually taking about 15 minutes. During regular visits, your Doctor of Chiropractic will follow your progress and build upon the strategies used to ensure your treatments are delivered in an efficient manner. Receiving treatments that are specific and focused to your goals is just one of the benefits of chiropractic care.
